PROFESSIONAL CHAIR

The role of a meeting Chair is to impartially facilitate a meeting by applying the rules fairly. It is the responsibility of the Chair to make certain that each member in the assembly knows what is under consideration and what is decided in what manner. Professional Parliamentarians must have demonstrated their competence to serve as a professional Chair to earn the PRP designation. Rob James serves as a professional Chair for some clients for all of their member meetings and often at contentious meetings when sides are divided and entrenched.
